Brand Strategy & Brainstorm Call
A strong brand strategy is crucial because it aligns your brand with your business goals and audience, rather than just your personal taste. While visuals are an important part of branding, they are only one piece of the puzzle. A solid strategy ensures that every element of your brand—your logo, messaging, and customer experience—reflects what your target audience truly values and how it aligns with your values and style. This approach creates a more meaningful connection with customers, drives recognition, and builds trust, ultimately leading to better long-term growth. Simply picking designs that look good to you might miss the mark, but a strategic approach ensures your brand resonates, attracts the right audience, and drives business success.
A good logo is a visual symbol that represents your brand, combining a logomark, wordmark (text), or both. It’s more than just a pretty image—it’s the face of your brand that communicates its identity, values, and mission.
We design 3 unique marks catering for each media size – landscape (longform such as website and business cards), portrait (square profiles such a social media) and icon or symbol.
Your brand personality or ‘vibe’ is what connects you to clients because its about about how your brand feels to your audience—its character and emotional tone. Just like a person, your brand can be playful, professional, sophisticated, or friendly. This personality shapes how people perceive and connect with your brand, and it’s a big driver of customer loyalty.
Color choices, font choices, and graphic styles play a vital role in conveying this brand personality:
A brand reference guide is a handy one page definition of how your brand should look and feel across all platforms. It includes guidelines for using the brand’s logo, color values, font typefaces and usage, and graphic elements. It ensures everything stays consistent, so your brand looks the same everywhere—whether on a website, social media, or print materials. It’s like a manual that helps keep your brand recognizable and professional and can be shared easily with printers, team members, and media parnters.
A well-designed business card and email signature offer quick, professional ways to leave a lasting impression. A good business card makes face-to-face connections memorable, showcasing your brand’s identity in a tangible way. Meanwhile, an email signature reinforces your brand’s professionalism in every digital interaction, making your communications feel more credible and cohesive. Both elements make your brand recognizable, boost trust, and help your business look polished and consistent across all interactions.
Business cards are an essential brand element. We go one step further and offer custom email signatures which often get seen more than paper cards these days.
Kickstart your social media with a professional look you’ll be proud to share. We create custom templates featuring your new brand, images, and messaging, all designed in the free online tool Canva, so you can easily edit them as needed. You’ll receive 12 templates for up to two social platforms (e.g., Facebook & Instagram). If you’re using Canva Pro, we’ll even upload your brand assets and images for you.
With over 20 years of experience, we’ve found that clients often aren’t sure about the purpose of different design files or when to use specific logos. That’s why we provide a custom video training to walk you through your brand elements, showing you how to use them effectively and edit your social media templates.
We dedicate a week to branding called ‘Brand Week’ where we will start off with survey of your goals, market & industry research, then a brainstorm and strategy call. From this strong basis we start to create your brand identity design system which is based on meaningful data rather than mere visual preferences alone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Every project is unique, so we’ll discuss your requirements during the call to give you an accurate idea of the potential cost. We focus on creating custom solutions that provide value, so we’ll also share what influences pricing and what kind of ROI you can expect. Please see our Website Planning Guide which also includes some base pricings for you to determine the type of investment involved. We love working with companies that are looking for design services based on quality, value, timeliness, expertise, strategy and a seamless, stress-free experience.
In our portfolio, we list project values so you can see what our clients are spending on their work with us, and this should help you decide what sort of budget is reasonable for a similar project.
We understand that timing is crucial. On the call, we’ll outline a typical timeline based on your project scope. Generally, from initial strategy to launch, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the complexity. We work with one client at a time, using a Design Day / Design Week approach, rather than juggling multiple projects per day/week. This ensures you are our sole focus until the work is done. We provide daily or weekly summaries of work performed, depending on the service you are receiving. This approach ensures the work is fresh in everyone’s mind and improves productivity and ultimately saves both money and time on each of our ends.
We will always let you know when we expect work to be completed so you can be available for timely feedback.
Our process begins with a deep dive into your brand, business goals, and target audience. We then create tailored design concepts, collaborate on revisions, and ensure the final product reflects your vision. The discovery call and our planning guide gives you an overview of each stage and how we keep you informed and involved throughout.
It’s likely since over the past 20 years we’ve worked with many businesses in many niches, and we work especially well with health, wellness, coaching and creative brands, or any niche where being an industry leader or having a strong personal brand is required for success. We conduct the latest research on your industry to ensure we have the most relevant designs and messaging. We work thoroughly to understand the specific challenges and opportunities in your field and will work closely with you, asking questions to ensure we grasp the unique aspects of your niche and how to position your brand effectively.
We have clients across the world, such as the UK, US, Australia, and the South Pacific but we also get many clients in our local area of Warkworth, Auckland, NZ. Lori is American by birth and frequently travels back home as well and therefore works with a lot of clients in the US. Her team is also remotely based in several different timezones. For this reason we have a 24 hour turnaround time versus a 1 Day (8 hr) timeframe to accomodate different timezones on our Design Days, and our Design Weeks include weekends to cater for Northern/Southern Hemispheres.
If you decide to move forward, we’ll produce a customised quotation that outlines your requirements into deliverables, as well as the next steps and specific timelines to ensure a smooth start to your project.
We currently book work approximately 3-4 weeks in advance depending on our work schedule, however this gives you time to get all your information together – we provide an easy system to help guide you on what we need from you in order to complete the work.
